busy, busy
Tuesday, May 12th, 2009Yet I still find time to update this dormant blog… The past weeks were quite filled with activities (work and non-work-related).
In April, all of my weekends were reserved for family gatherings, a homecoming, and a christening that also became a get-together with Jen and Rosary. This month, we had our company outing in La Luz and then there are those stuff for work.
I really want to find time to write about my recent trip to Iloilo and Negros but then as always, laziness wins. One week was definitely not enough to rediscover my home city and reconnect with cousins and friends. I barely had a day spent talking with my cousins from my mother’s side whom I really miss hanging out with. I didn’t even have enough time to be with my Iloilo-based brother while I was there. And I didn’t get to walk through Quezon Hall of WVSU, eat at Bavaria, pig out at Tibiao, JD, and Tatoy’s, and take a picture of my Elem and HS alma mater’s grounds. I promise when I go back, I’ll do all of these things.
The next weekend, we attended my cousin’s wedding. Then the weekend after that it was the christening of Rosary and John’s daughter — Ava Julianna (my newest inaanak). With Gene Mark in tow, we traveled to Quezon City for the happy celebration. Kira, Jen’s daughter, was there too and kept us entertained with her antics. She’s a cute and articulate kid.
